Joseph Kainz
Barrington VenturesJoseph Kainz joined the Abyrx® Board of Directors in 2013. Mr. Kainz brings to Abyrx over forty years of medical product experience. In 1990, Mr. Kainz launched two successful medical manufacturer’s representative groups, with sales concentration specifically in the acute care market. In 1995 those organizations were transformed into a medical distribution company, operating under the name of BV Medical and continuing operations today as a diagnostic device distributor to the total healthcare industry. Prior to 1990, Mr. Kainz held the position of Senior Account Executive with American Hospital Supply and Baxter Healthcare from 1967 until retiring in 1990. During that time, Mr. Kainz served in numerous sales and management positions including President of the President's Advisory Council of both corporations and was responsible for successfully launching two medical devices with each reaching sales in excess of 100 million dollars. Joseph Kainz is a graduate of the University of Illinois. Currently, Mr. Kainz sits on several charitable boards including Operation Smile, Inc.
